I went with Audiovox knowing the company has been around for a long time. I also know with electronics all made by the same companies with just different names, I wanted better value for my dollars. Audiovox gives me and my family quality entertainment at a bargan price for our budget. Sony and Philips are overpriced with the same design.
These DVD players were affordable and provided a lovely picture on a lovely 10 inch screen. For our Museum exhibit purposes, it proved inconvenient. The volume is great. There are options for adjusting color and other screen options.BE AWARE: There is no repeat feature on this player. I wanted to leave this player running and looping a DVD presentation but now each individual patron has to hit the play button and wait for the DVD to load again. Not convenient.
for new batteries and that didn't work either. I bought two of these together and they both stopped charging at around the three month range. So now I've got two defective dvd players and nothing to play a dvd on I've emailed the customer service for this product at least twice and they don't get back with me. I tried both chargers and nothing. I think they were defective, but went ahead and forked out [.]. By looking at other reviews, this is a common problem. I do not recommend this one at all.
well i just purchased mine from amazon which the subdealer is target i paid 149.99 for it and every one else paid 78.00 i think ive been screwed im currently in iraq so i dont have access to the actual stores and have to purchase online. Wish i would of read the reviews before purchasing it sounds like i wasted my money on a product that doesnt last.
I bought this when target had it on sale for $78. Now only the car adapter works. The screen size is larger than our previous model that stopped holding a charge. Within 4 months of use the power adapter(plug into wall one) stopped working mid-use. I'm going to try ordering another one and see if it will work, but otherwise I would've been better off buying a smaller screen and better name brand. Next time I will go Sony or Phillips.
